Katie was born in Waterford and released her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Twelve’ in 2009 – a beautifully intimate collection of songs centered around Katie’s hushed, mood-drenched vocals. The album has a similar kind of intimacy to the likes of Mazzy Star, with hints of the early aggression of PJ Harvey and the more folk-based late night feel of Cat Power.
