Imagine Arts Festival is looking forward to welcoming RTE Concert Orchestra to the Theatre Royal on Saturday 20th October. This concert is being hosted by the Symphony Club of Waterford.
Excitement mounts for Trad Festival
Some of Ireland’s most talented traditional Irish music performers are currently preparing for a massive celebration of their art, set to take place over one weekend in October as part of the Imagine Festival. This is the second year that trad has been given such a platform in Waterford’s only arts festival and is a unique opportunity for trad fans, not only in Waterford, but all around the world. Festival organiser, and trad musician Ben Delaney calls the weekend “an amazing opportunity”. “For one weekend” Ben says, “The cream of Irish trad music will rise to the top, and Waterford people will be able to see it all on their own doorstep.
